AMERICAN TATTOO IN THE GREASY GRASS

A commemoration of the wild west in imagination- but also in truth between the Indigenous and European peoples.  Greasy Grass was the name the Indians had for Little Big Horn, the site of battle where the Sioux and Cheyenne annihilated General George Armstrong Custer and the 7th Cavalry in June of 1876; where men wore red and blue, rode across the plains, and were buried in blood.
